Cornwall Trade and Investment have made a new video highlighting the opportunity for floating offshore wind (FLOW) in the region, as the Celtic Sea strategy continues to be implemented.

Steve Jermy, CEO of Celtic Sea Power, has stressed that the region has immense experience in offshore renewables and that innovative businesses are now poised to seize the FLOW opportunity.

Tugdock was selected as the business that best demonstrated this capability and an interview with Lucas Lowe-Houghton is included in the video, as well as some footage from Tugdock’s recent project in Provence Grand Large. Provence Grand Large is the first floating offshore wind pilot in France and Tugdock’s patented marine buoyancy technology has been deployed there.

Lucas Lowe-Houghton, Chief Revenue Officer at Tugdock, said:

“We are delighted to have been asked to feature in this video. We share the huge vision and ambition for FLOW that is being championed by Celtic Sea Power and we are embracing the many opportunities that are now emerging, both nationally and worldwide.”
